Beniwal wrote a letter to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma regarding the illness of the policemen deployed for the security of Gaur MP Hanuman Beniwal. He has raised questions on the deployment of policemen deployed for his security. Hanuman Beniwal wrote in the letter that a security personnel is being deployed for his protection. All the policemen deployed for his security till now are suffering from serious illnesses. How such sick policemen will protect them is a big question.
Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal wrote in the letter that this type of functioning is not only a serious threat to my security, but it also appears that a planned attempt is being made to tarnish my public image and reputation by holding me unnecessarily responsible in case of any possible untoward incident and health related crisis of a policeman.
Mention of illnesses of three policemen
Hanuman Beniwal has also mentioned the names of three policemen and their illnesses in this letter. In this, Sunil Bishnoi Constable, who was already suffering from serious neurological disease and on July 11, Sunil’s health suddenly deteriorated in Jaipur. I myself took him to Sawai Mansingh Hospital, Jaipur late at night and made all the arrangements for his treatment.
Referring to another security personnel Balveer Gurjar constable, Beniwal wrote that while returning from Jaipur on July 15, his security personnel’s health deteriorated. After that I immediately admitted him to the hospital in Nagaur. After ensuring treatment from the hospital, he was referred to AIIMS Jodhpur. Here the doctors told that he may have a chronic heart disease.
Beniwal wrote about the third security personnel, Constable Sitaram, that he is also in an unwell condition. Beniwal wrote in the letter that earlier, based on the input received by the Intelligence Department of Rajasthan Police about a major threat to my security, armed commandos along with police escort were deployed to protect me, because when the threat was told, it was not told from where the threat was and later the security was removed without my knowledge.
Information given to Rajasthan Police also
I was not given any information about the threat nor was it told about the current status of the inputs regarding my safety. Beniwal said that I had also given information about the entire incident of sending the sick policemen to security through telephone to the DGP of Rajasthan Police and ADG Intelligence.
Despite this, no protective action was taken at the district level. It seems clear from this that some responsible police officers working in Nagaur are working under political influence instead of impartial administrative responsibilities. They are being seriously negligent with my security arrangements. In such circumstances, I am sending the Rajasthan Police personnel back to the Reserve Police Line, Nagaur, with immediate effect, where they have been made available for my safety. Because I do not want to risk the health of any sick policeman.
