May 30, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Naga Chaitanya News: It has been four years since the divorce of South actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu and both have progressed a lot in their respective lives. After a long time of divorce, Naga Chaitanya has now reached the court regarding the content related to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Naga Chaitanya has approached the Delhi High Court. The actor has demanded protection of his ‘personality rights’ against unauthorized use of his name, picture and likeness online. The actor’s legal team has also expressed concern over obscene AI-generated content, doctored videos and content related to his personal life.

A new twist has come in the Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya case. Recently Naga Chaitanya has approached Delhi High Court. The actor’s team claimed in the court that his name, image and likeness were being misused. There should be an immediate ban on fake and defamatory content, especially AI generated pornographic content, deepfake videos and his relationship with Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Why did Naga Chaitanya reach court?

Naga Chaitans’ lawyer Vaibhav Gaggar told the court that the AI-generated and digitally manipulated video has falsely shown Chaitanya in objectionable situations. The lawyer also specifically pointed towards the online content in which his ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu was included. In these contents it was claimed that the actor cheated on her and ruined her career.

What did the court say?

Naga Chaitanya’s advocate insisted in the court – “This is trolling, this is not fair criticism.” Justice Jyoti Singh remarked during the hearing that public figures have to face scrutiny, but there is a limit to this too. The court has fixed the next hearing of the case on September 30 and has indicated to pass an interim order.
