
The court of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh has given a big verdict today in the famous eight-year-old Rajendra Saini murder case and has sentenced two culprits to death penalty. The court has made a strong comment on this murder case and said that the person committing the crime should be afraid. This case is of the year 2018, where the burnt body of a youth was found in the forest of Khedi village of Meerapur police station area. Later he was identified as 26 year old Rajendra Saini, resident of Kakrauli. Police investigation revealed that Rajendra was murdered on suspicion of illicit relations.
According to the information, on June 4, 2018, the accused had taken a young man named Rajendra Saini with him on a bike. After this, Rajendra was first made to drink alcohol and then strangulated to death. To hide this incident, the accused took Rajendra’s body to the forest and burnt it.
‘The person committing the crime should be afraid’
During that time, after investigation, the police had filed a charge sheet in the court against Veerasain, Gajendra alias Gilu and Ram Kiran alias Sawan in this case. While the main accused Veersain died during the trial, the case against the two accused was continuing in the court. Additional District Sessions Judge and Presiding Officer of Immediate Court No. 03, Ravi Kumar Diwakar, on Saturday convicted Gajendra alias Gilu and Ram Kiran alias Sawan in this case and sentenced them to death penalty and a fine of Rs 1 lakh each.
While delivering the verdict, the judge made a scathing comment on the matter and said, “The person committing the crime should be afraid.”
Giving information about this entire case, government advocate Kuldeep Singh said that this famous case, which went on in the court for eight years, is being considered as a big judicial relief for the victim’s family.
