Monsoon active in Delhi-NCR, heavy rain in many areas, know the weather for the next 7 days

There was heavy rain with strong winds in many areas in Delhi-NCR late night. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi till July 26. During this period, moderate to heavy rain and strong winds at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour have been predicted in many areas. IMD has issued an alert of heavy rain in some areas between late night of 21st July and morning of 22nd July.

Let us tell you that after the heavy rain on July 10, the weather had cleared in Delhi. However, sporadic rain was seen in some areas. Now there has been some relief from the humidity due to rain again late at night.

How will the weather be till 26th July?

According to Skymet, till July 26, rain can be seen almost every day in Delhi-NCR. The sky will be covered with dense clouds and there will be very little sunlight. Because of this the maximum temperature will be below normal. The day temperature is expected to be around 32 degrees Celsius between today and July 26.

Waterlogging and traffic jams in many areas

However, there may be incidents of rain and lightning along with strong winds throughout the week. Problems like waterlogging and traffic jams may also arise in many areas. In such a situation, people have been advised to follow the advisory of the Meteorological Department and avoid unnecessary travel during bad weather.

Pleasant weather in Delhi

The minimum temperature recorded in Delhi on Sunday was 31 degrees Celsius. Palam weather station recorded the minimum temperature at 26.4 degrees Celsius, which was 2.6 degrees lower than the previous day, while the minimum temperature at Lodhi Road was 27.4 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperatures at Ridge and Ayanagar weather stations were recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius and 27.3 degrees Celsius respectively.

5.8 mm rain recorded in last 24 hours

There was no rain in Delhi between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm on Sunday, although 5.8 mm rain was recorded in Safdarjung in the last 24 hours. On Sunday, the maximum temperature recorded at Safdarjung weather center was 38.3 degrees Celsius, which was 3.1 degrees above normal. The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy weather and moderate rain throughout the day.
