He said that there is a lot of trade between the two countries and now this trade is being done in a more fair and transparent manner than before. However, Trump also said that earlier India used to get more benefits in trade with America. He said, ‘India had made a lot of profit from us. But I do not blame India or Modi for this. Our leaders were idiots who allowed this to happen.
According to Trump, now trade between America and India has become more balanced. He said that India may not be completely happy with this change, because earlier it used to get more benefits. Despite this he reiterated that Modi is a brilliant and strong leader. In the interview, Trump also praised Chinese President Xi Jinping. He described both Modi and Xi as classic leaders. Trump jokingly said that if a film were to be made on these two leaders, there would be no actor in Hollywood who could play their roles properly.
