Border and Tribal Affairs Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Noorullah Noori has called Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif a ‘mentally ill’ person for threatening an attack. Speaking at a gathering, Noori asked Khawaja Asif to understand the history before taking any decision. He said that your history against Bangladesh and India is clear. Our history against Russia, America and Britain is clear. You decide yourself.
Pakistani officials have consistently claimed that attacks in the country are carried out by extremists present in Afghanistan, although the Islamic Emirate denies this claim. Pakistan had launched attacks in Kabul and Paktika about a month ago, following which deadly clashes took place between the two sides. There have been three rounds of talks between the two sides, but they have been inconclusive.
India also gave a befitting reply to Pakistan
Earlier, the Indian government gave a strong reply to the recent remarks made by Pakistan Defense Minister Khawaja Asif on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Government sources said that Khawaja Asif has no serious work and spends his time making unnecessary statements on matters beyond his understanding. Government sources described Khwaja Asif as mentally unstable.
Khawaja Asif has no regular work
He said that this is not a new thing and his getting an important responsibility like Defense Minister in Pakistan only shows the current situation there. Sources said that he does not have any regular work, hence he keeps making baseless and irresponsible comments even on such subjects about which he does not have complete knowledge. Sources also said that jealousy is never a good thing, especially for a person who continuously makes hate statements.
Made fun of PM Modi’s honor
This reaction of the Indian government came at a time when Khawaja Asif had made fun of Seychelles’ honor given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and called it an artificial honour. In fact, during his visit to Seychelles last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was awarded Seychelles’ new highest honor Guardian of the Blue Horizon in recognition of his contribution to environmental protection and development of small island countries.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the first person to receive this honour. This honor was started just a few weeks before Prime Minister Modi’s visit. The Seychelles government introduced this new honor by making changes to its national honors system.
