Major reasons for mental stress among doctors
According to experts, in many hospitals of the country, resident doctors have to work for 80 to 100 hours a week. #Hausla_Rakh campaign started
Regarding this issue, senior doctor Dr Pankaj Solanki has started the #Hausla_Rakh campaign. The aim of this campaign is to start an open conversation on the mental health of doctors. Dr. Solanki says that like common people, doctors also suffer from mental stress and fatigue, but this is not discussed. He said that doctors are also human beings. Constant work pressure, lack of sleep and responsibility for patients affects their mental health. In such a situation, it is important that doctors can seek help without hesitation.

Dr. Solanki said that if the treating doctor remains under constant stress, it may affect the care of the patients. Decision making ability may be affected due to fatigue and mental pressure. He said that the mental health of doctors needs to be seen not just as a personal problem of doctors but as a health system issue. A way to solve this problem has to be found as soon as possible.
