Make toffee like Melody at home
Material
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup milk powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp cream
- a little ghee
Method of preparation
- First of all, put sugar in a pan and melt it on low flame. When the sugar becomes light golden, add butter and milk to it. Keep stirring it continuously so that lumps do not form.
- Now add cocoa powder and milk powder to it. When the mixture starts thickening, add cream and vanilla essence. Cook it until the mixture becomes sticky like toffee.
- Spread the mixture on a plate greased with ghee and let it cool a little. Then cut into small toffee shapes. If you want, you can fill it with some chocolate syrup in the middle to give it a taste like the real Melody.
- After they cool down, wrap them in butter paper and keep them in an airtight container. This homemade melody will be liked by everyone from children to adults. Even though it won’t be exactly like Melody. But it will definitely taste like that.
