It is prohibited to take home any prasad or food items from Mehandipur Balaji temple. It is believed that by taking anything from here, negative powers and even ghosts can follow them home. It is prohibited to even look back while leaving the temple. It is believed that by looking back the escaped evil spirits can take over again.
