A Hindu boy was murdered on the evening of 28 May (Bakrid) in Khoda police station area of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The name of the deceased was Surya Pratap Chauhan, who was 17 years old. It is being told that some of Surya’s Muslim friends brutally murdered him by stabbing him with knives. In fact, last Thursday (May 28) on the day of Bakrid, Surya Chauhan was stabbed to death in Khoda Colony. It is alleged that Surya was called by his Muslim friend Asad at around 3.30 pm on Bakrid. After this, he was asked whether he had ever seen a goat being slaughtered. When Surya said no, Asad asked him to see it. When Asad and his associates refused, they attacked Surya with knives.
Three accused arrested
After this, Surya was brought to Fortis Hospital in Noida in a critical condition, where Surya died at 12 noon on Friday. On the complaint of the deceased’s elder brother Yash, the police have registered an FIR at Khoda police station. Police have arrested three accused in this case, out of which two are minors. Two suspects are being detained and interrogated. However, the main accused and his family are still absconding. Three police teams have been deployed to arrest him. There is anger among Hindu organizations after this incident. In view of the tension, heavy force has been deployed in the area.
