Today the MP Cabinet has approved the Uniform Civil Code Bill. CM said that everyone should get equal rights without any discrimination in the society. We have taken a resolution. Ram, Rahim, Ravinder and Robin got equal rights. Here on April 27, a committee consisting of 7 members was formed and suggestions were taken from everyone. He told that a study was conducted in the states where there is UCC. 9 lakh 58 thousand suggestions were received from there. Here 93.54% people supported this law in this state. Here 92.66 people believed that everyone should get equal share in the property in the family.
Only one marriage will be applicable
CM said that Uniform Civil Code, only one marriage will be applicable, second marriage will not be considered. There will be freedom from divorce, divorce, divorce. The decision will be taken only after the legal process. The successor will also be selected by law. Men and women will have equal rights. You will be able to live in a live-in relationship only after registering within a month. A boy of 21 years and a girl above 18 years of age will be able to stay. If someone is married then it will not be valid. Efforts were made to stop discriminatory practices.
Tribal society was kept an exception in this. Everyone will be registered for marriage. This will have to be done up to the rural level. Second marriage will not be allowed. The marriage will not end outside the court, it will happen only through the court.
If a married person lives in a live-in relationship, he will be sentenced to 5 years. The opposition should come together and support the implementation of this law. The aim of bringing this law is to convert division into trust. The people of the state are thankful.
