
The annual three-day All India Province Pracharak meeting of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was concluded in Belagavi, Karnataka on Sunday. A total of 226 officials including Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale participated in this meeting. In the meeting, the training camps (education classes) organized at various levels of the Sangh since March 2026 were reviewed.
During this, everyone expressed regret over the irregularities in counting of offerings received from the donation bins of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. He also expressed confidence in the ongoing investigation in the offering case. According to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) All India Publicity Chief Sunil Ambekar, a total of 83 Sangh Shiksha Vargs and 12 Karyakarta Vikas Vargs were organized across the country this year, in which 18,842 volunteers received training. The training course included subjects related to branch operation, Sangh’s methodology, rural development, family counselling, disaster management and environment.
Review of centenary year celebration programs
There was a detailed discussion on the implementation of action plans at the branch level and the plan for maximum expansion of branches in the month of September. Apart from this, the programs already organized as part of the centenary year celebrations were reviewed. Apart from this, plans for other scheduled programs were discussed.
Discussion on Sarsanghchalak’s travel program
According to All India Publicity Chief Sunil Ambekar, strategies were discussed to actively engage with social activities and the themes of ‘Panch Parivartan’ (five changes) among those who came in contact with the Sangh during various events of the centenary year. The migration program of Sarsanghchalak for the year 2026-27 was also discussed.
Discussion on the challenges of population imbalance
Various issues related to the current scenario were discussed in the meeting, mainly focusing on the challenges posed by census and demographic imbalance. Concern was expressed over the increasing side effects of drug abuse and the need to make priority efforts towards de-addiction was stressed. Plans for the programs of the 650th birth anniversary of Saint Shiromani Ravidas Maharaj were also discussed.
Expressed regret over irregularities in Ram temple offerings
During the meeting, everyone expressed regret over the incidents of irregularities in the counting of offerings received from the donation bins of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. He also expressed confidence that the investigation being conducted by the SIT and the police on the request of the ‘Teerth Kshetra Trust’ will reach a conclusive result. It was expected from the ‘Teerth Kshetra Trust’ to prevent any such incident from happening in the future, which would hurt the deep devotion and faith of Ram devotees towards the Ram temple.
