Manoj Bajpayee On Ranveer Singh Ban: Federation of Western and Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) has decided on non-cooperation against Ranveer Singh in the matter of leaving Farhan Akhtar’s film ‘Don 3’. This decision is being seen as a ban on Ranveer Singh in Bollywood. Now film actor Manoj Bajpayee’s reaction has also come to light on this bold step taken against Ranveer. On Tuesday, Manoj Bajpayee had reached the trailer launch event of his upcoming film ‘Governor’, where he was asked a question about the ban imposed on Ranveer Singh. Manoj said during this time that the matter should be resolved amicably.
On Ranveer case during the trailer launch event of ‘Governor’ Manoj Bajpayee Said, “This place is wrong. But I would like to tell you one thing that all the people in this industry are only reading about this matter through social media and we do not have any in-depth information about it. But being a colleague and a fellow member of this film fraternity, we can only say that we hope that the matter will be resolved soon.”
What is the whole dispute between Ranveer and Farhan?
Ranveer Singh Had signed 3 films including Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s banner Excel Entertainment’s film ‘Don 3’. Farhan claims that Ranveer Singh left the film three weeks before the shooting started, due to which he suffered a loss of Rs 45 crore. Ranveer had complained to FWICE in this matter. The Federation issued notice to Ranveer thrice but he did not appear. After this, on Monday 25th May, FWICE members held a press conference and told that they have decided on non-cooperation against Ranveer. This decision will remain in force until Ranveer holds a meeting with FWICE and the matter is resolved.
What is Ranveer’s side in the dispute with Farhan?
However, no statement has been given yet by Ranveer Singh regarding leaving ‘Don 3’. In some reports quoting sources, it was said that Ranveer has left the film due to creative differences. He did not like the final script and the director’s vision. Farhan Akhtar did not agree to the changes he asked for and the matter escalated so much that Ranveer left the film.
