
In the West Bengal Assembly elections 2026, the Bharatiya Janata Party overthrew the 15-year-old Mamata government. For the first time in the state, BJP got majority and for the first time this party also got its Chief Minister. Now through this victory of BJP, management will be taught to the students. For this, IIM-Calcutta is also preparing a management study case. This information has been given by IIM-Calcutta.
He said that the management is preparing a case study on the organizational strategy of BJP, due to which the party won the West Bengal elections. In this study, election campaign will be analyzed through strategic management framework. This analysis will be useful for both classroom teaching and academic research.

Who is preparing this plan?
According to a statement, this case study is being prepared by IIM-Calcutta Director Alok Kumar Rai, Strategy Group Professor Ramya T. Venkateshwaran and former Operations Group Professor Bodhibrato Nag. It will be used to teach concepts related to strategy, organizational capabilities and leadership to management students.
After its completion, this study will be made available worldwide in collaboration with IIM-Calcutta Case Research Center and Ivy Publishing, so that business schools and management institutions around the world can adopt it for teaching.
