Recently ED had served notice on Abhishek Banerjee’s house in the recruitment corruption case, many people believe that since then the fear has increased further. It is noteworthy that due to his involvement in the coal smuggling case, he had to appear in the ED office several times before. Dozen of TMC leaders arrested after change of power

On Friday itself, NIA arrested Shaukat Mollah, the heavyweight leader of Bhangar in South 24 Parganas district. Before this, many top leaders including former MLA Sujit Bose have been arrested. - Anisur Rahman: Amdanga Panchayat chief has been arrested in a case related to post-election violence and extortion.
- Inam Khan: Titagarh Municipal Councilor has been arrested in the extortion case.
