According to reports, director Laxman Utekar spoke to Vithabai Narayangaonkar’s family and told them why the biopic was named ‘Itha’. It is being told that the family is satisfied with this clarification and now they have no objection to this title. As soon as this controversy ends, before the release of ‘Itha’, it is going to reach Vithabai’s village Narayangaon, due to which speculations have intensified that perhaps the makers are preparing to premiere the film in the village.

In a recent conversation, Vithabai’s grandson Mohit Narayangaonkar told that before the release of the film on August 28, shraddha kapoor And the film team is expected to go to Narayangaon. When he was asked whether this visit would take place after the release, he clarified, “No, not after the release, but before the release.”

When asked if Shraddha Kapoor would also be a part of the tour, Mohit replied, “Yes, absolutely.”

The film ‘Ithi’, made under the direction of Laxman Utekar, is based on the life of famous Lavani artist Vitthabai Narayangaonkar. Shraddha Kapoor, Randeep Hooda and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub are in lead roles in this film and it will be released in theaters on 28 August 2026.
