
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has said that in order to make the health services of the capital more strong, transparent and accountable, more than 40 medical, paramedical and administrative officers and employees of the Central Procurement Agency (CPA) working under the Health and Family Welfare Department of the Health Department have been transferred.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta Says that the priority of the state government is to provide better medical facilities to the people of Delhi. He clearly said that if there is any kind of negligence or indiscipline in this, it will not be tolerated.
The Chief Minister informed that 10 doctors including HOO (Head of Office) Dr. Vinod Kumar Ranga have been transferred in CPA. Apart from this, 19 employees have been transferred to strengthen paramedical services. This includes pharmacists, junior medical lab technicians, lab attendants and drivers etc.
Emphasis on increasing efficiency in administrative work
According to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, to increase efficiency in administrative work, 10 employees at the level of Section Officer, Senior Assistant and Junior Assistant have also been transferred. During the review of human resources, the condition of officers and employees working in CPA has also been assessed.
Besides, information has also been compiled about such employees, who are working on the pay scale of CPA, but are currently appointed in other offices. To ensure proper utilization of these resources. For this reason other employees have also been removed from CPA.
The Chief Minister informed that CPA is an important center of the health system of Delhi Government, from where the work of procurement and supply of medicines, medical equipment and other essential health materials is carried out. To make this system more efficient, experienced officers and employees are being added from various hospitals and departments.
Transfer of more than 40 doctors and officers
Under this process, 12 medical officers from various hospitals and health institutions have been deployed in CPA. These include senior medical officers, medical officers and CMO level officers. Their deployment will further strengthen procurement, storage, supply and administrative functions.
The Chief Minister said that to speed up the departmental work, additional responsibilities have also been assigned to various officers. The responsibility of operation of Project Branch, Caretaking Branch, Store and Purchase Branch, Computer Cell, Mobile Health Scheme, PGMS, RTI, Child Rights, Health Fair, Hospital Coordination and other important units has been given to the concerned officers. Apart from this, necessary administrative arrangements have also been made to make the works related to Store and Purchase Branch and CPA more effective.
