
Maharashtra MLC Election Results: The results of Maharashtra Legislative Council elections have come. Mahayuti has got a big victory in this. It has won 16 out of 17 seats. Voting for 17 seats was held on June 18. However, even before voting, Mahayuti candidates had won 6 seats without any opposition. At the same time, today i.e. on June 22, the results of the remaining 11 seats came.
In this, Mahayuti has hoisted the flag of victory. It won 16 out of 17 seats. However, the only setback for the ruling coalition was in Nashik, where independent candidate and BJP rebel Gokul Geete defeated Shiv Sena’s official candidate Narendra Darade. Let us tell you that in the MLC elections, BJP had contested 11 seats, Shiv Sena 4 and NCP 2 seats.

BJP flag in Sangli-Satara
Mahayuti supported BJP candidate Dhairysheel Kadam has registered a spectacular victory in the Sangli-Satara Legislative Council elections. Dhairyasheel Kadam got 593 first preference votes out of total 885 votes. Dhairyasheel Kadam defeated his nearest rival Mahavikas Aghadi-backed Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) candidate Abhay Singh Jagtap by a margin of 301 votes. Abhaysingh Jagtap got 292 votes in the elections. After the results were declared, Jagtap claimed that around 100 Mahayuti votes had come in his favor. He said that Mahavikas Aghadi originally had 192 votes, whereas they got a total of 292 votes. With this victory, BJP and Mahayuti have maintained their dominance on Sangli-Satara seat. After the results, there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the BJP workers and the victory is being celebrated.

The opposition could not field candidates on these seats or their names were withdrawn, hence Mahayuti candidates were elected without voting. Most of the attention on today’s results will be on Nashik, Pune, Nanded, Nagpur and Dharashiv-Latur-Beed seats, because these are being considered as a direct political test of Mahayuti vs Mahavikas Aghadi.

* Independent Ganesh Geete against Narendra Darade of Shiv Sena (Shinde). There was no official candidate of Mahavikas Aghadi here.

* Suresh Varpudkar of Congress against Anand Bharos of Shiv Sena (Shinde).
Nanded
* Mohan Humbarde of Congress against Amar Rajurkar of BJP.
Dharashiv-Latur-Beed
* Ashok Jagdale of Nationalist Congress (Sharad Pawar) against Basavaraj Patil of BJP.
Pune
* Congress’s Ramesh Bagwe against BJP’s Sangram Thopte.
Jalgaon
* Gulabrao Deokar of Congress against Nandkishore Mahajan of BJP.
Sangli-Satara
* Congress’s Prabhakar Deshmukh against BJP’s patient move.
Solapur
