
The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) paper to be held in Maharashtra on Sunday (June 28) was leaked. After which the Maharashtra State Examination Council had canceled the examination. Due to which there was an uproar. This incident has raised many questions across the country. In this case, police have arrested three accused from Bhiwandi. Now the threads of this case seem to be connected to Bihar. The news is that it was leaked through Samastipur module of Bihar.
According to the information, Bijendra Kumar Gupta, resident of Samastipur, Bihar, is the main mastermind of the TET paper leak case. Even before this, he is an accused in the paper leak case. Mumbai Police is continuously conducting raids in search of Bijendra Gupta. It is being told that police teams of ten people have been sent to arrest Kapil Dahiya and Bijendra Kumar Gupta. Bhiwandi police had earlier arrested three accused in the TET paper leak case.
Names of five accused in police FIR
After the arrest of main mastermind Bijendra Kumar Gupta, many big revelations are likely to be made. Bijendra Gupta’s name is also in the FIR of Thane Police and both Bijendra and Kapil Dahiya are said to be absconding. Five accused are named in the police FIR. These include Rajeev Shri Prayag Shav, Akash Kumar Swaraj Kumar, Dheeraj Balraj Singh, Kapil Dahiya (absconding accused), Bijender Kumar Gupta alias Baleshwar Kumar Sah.
Allegations of paper leaking in many states
According to Bhiwandi Police officials, Bijendra Kumar Gupta, a resident of Samastipur, Bihar, is an absconding accused in the Maharashtra TET paper leak case. This is the same accused against whom cases have been registered for leaking papers in many states of the country. Two cases were registered against the accused in Orissa in July 2023 in connection with the paper leak. Apart from this, he is a wanted accused in many cases.
Investigation in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Delhi
Bhiwandi Police team is investigating the case in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Delhi. After the cancellation of the exam, Bhiwandi Police had told in a press conference that a case has been registered against three people in connection with the TET paper leak. The arrested accused include Rajiv Shah and Akash Kumar alias Suraj Singh, residents of Patna, Bihar. Along with this, Dheeraj Singh, resident of Panipat, Haryana was also arrested. The police had recovered a huge amount of cash and mobile phones from these three.
The accused had demanded Rs 1.5 crore
During the search of the accused, examination question papers were found which have been confiscated. Police said that during interrogation it was revealed that the accused had demanded Rs 1.5 crore and had asked for advance payment. Considering the seriousness of the case, a special investigation team has been formed on the orders of senior officials. DCP Pawan Bansod is leading the investigation team. The team has a total of 20 members, including two ACPs, nine officers (PI and API) and other staff.
