
Manoj Jarange Patil has again opened a front against the government regarding Maratha reservation. In the press conference on Thursday, Manoj Jarange announced that he will once again start a hunger strike in Antarwali Sarti from May 30. He has said that he will fast unto death in the scorching heat. He has asked, “We had given ten months time to the government, ten months will be completed on May 29, how much more time should be given to the government?”
Manoj Jarange Patil further said, “Injustice is being done to the children of Marathas, so now we will have to take a strong stand. I do not want to blame anyone, but if injustice is being done to the children of poor Marathas, then we will have to take a strong stand.”
Government in action after Jaranga’s threat
Meanwhile, after this warning of Manoj Jarange Patil, the movement has gained momentum. Maratha Reservation Sub-Committee Chairman and Water Resources Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil has left for Mumbai in a vehicle.
In view of Jarange Patil’s agitation, Vikhe Patil will hold an important meeting with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai. After this meeting, he will reach Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar at 12 noon on Friday. Here, Vikhe Patil will hold a meeting with officials in the Divisional Commissioner’s office.
Meeting with Jaranga on Friday
According to information received from reliable sources, after this meeting Vikhe Patil will hold a meeting with Manoj Jarange Patil. Before this, a press conference of Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil was also held on Thursday afternoon.
In this press conference, he said that I am in constant touch with Manoj Jarange Patil and the Chief Minister of the state Devendra Fadnavis has a very positive stance on all these issues. After the meeting with the Chief Minister, Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil will hold a meeting with Manoj Jarange Patil on Friday.
