Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has launched a scathing attack on Uddhav Thackeray over the “Ramraksha Andolan” started by Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) over the alleged theft from the donation box of Ayodhya Ram temple. He said that he is happy that Uddhav Thackeray finally remembered Lord Ram. He also said that following the path of Ram will be beneficial for him.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said these things while talking to journalists after attending a family function in his native village ‘Mool’ in Chandrapur district on Sunday. Responding to questions about Uddhav Thackeray’s statewide “Ram Raksha Andolan”, the Chief Minister said that Thackeray had earlier left the path of Ram, which led to the downfall of his party.
Chief Minister Fadnavis said, “I am happy that Uddhav Thackeray finally remembered Lord Ram. He said that if Uddhav Thackeray follows the path of Ram, it will be good for him. I hope he will recite Ramraksha not only today, but every day.”
Will not spare those who loot temples
Earlier, amid the Ram temple offering theft controversy in Ayodhya, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party, saying, “If someone misuses Hindutva and loots the temple, Hindus will not spare them.” Uddhav Thackeray said, “When power was being assumed in this country, there were chants of Shri Ram. I don’t think any other party has done as much work for the Ram temple as the Shiv Sainiks have done. They took part in Shila Pujan and Rath Yatra and went to Ayodhya to do Kar Seva.

At that time many Kar Sevaks shed their blood. The city of Mumbai faced such things which perhaps no other city would have faced. At that time, Balasaheb Thackeray was standing with the people. Hindus were living under fear and attacks and were looking for support. Then the saffron flag of Shiv Sena was handed over to him.” Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray further said, “Twelve years have passed, and the person for whom we worked so hard is now on the post of Prime Minister. “Yet, he later vowed to destroy Shiv Sena just like Afzal Khan.”
To what extent will we loot Kashi and Mathura?
Referring to the BJP’s slogan – “Ayodhya was just a trailer; Kashi and Mathura are yet to come” – the Shiv Sena (UBT) chief said, “If Ayodhya was just a glimpse, to what extent will they loot Kashi and Mathura? We thought that a ‘saffron’ government has come to power. Atal ji had said, ‘Now Hindus will not have to bear the brunt,’ yet today a government is in power which itself is a ‘saffron’ government. It is really unfortunate that I am not the only one making such allegations;
