Jeetu Patwari Arrest Warrant: Gwalior’s MP-MLA Court has issued an arrest warrant against Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari. The court has given strict instructions to the SP of Bhind that the presence of the Patwari should be ensured at all costs in the next hearing on 27th July. During the hearing, the court expressed strong displeasure over the functioning of the police.
The court said that when Jitu Patwari’s statements and political activities are visible everywhere then why are the police not able to find him? On May 4, 2024, an FIR was registered against the Patwari at Umri police station in Bhind.
What is this whole matter?
Actually, this entire matter is during the Lok Sabha election campaign of 2024. It is alleged that Jitu Patwari had publicly accused the then BSP candidate Devashish Jararia of colluding with the BJP. After this, on May 4, 2024, an FIR was registered against him (Jitu Patwari) for violation of model code of conduct and other sections at Umri police station in Bhind district.
did not appear in court
In this case, the court had sent summons to Jitu Patwari to appear in the court on 16 January 2026. Due to his non-appearance on the scheduled date and his continuous distance from the court proceedings, the court had to take this tough stance. Now all eyes are on Bhind police administration to see how it will comply with the court orders on the upcoming date.
