Adoor Gopalakrishnan did not do much work in his career. He made only 12 films which included films like Kodiyettam, Ellippathayam, Mukhamukham, Anantharam, Vidheyan and Pinneyam. Adoor was also awarded the National Award for Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Book on Cinema. He also won 17 Kerala State Awards in his name. The director has been awarded with honors like Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Padmashree and Padma Vibhushan. He made his last film in the year 2016 and now after 10 years he is ready to make a comeback. He is working on a film named Padayatra.
