
Tomorrow (30 May), Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the ‘Navy Shaurya Vatika’ prepared in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. This garden is dedicated to the bravery, valor and technical capability of the Indian Navy. This garden prepared in CG City is being seen as a gift to the people of the state from the Yogi government.
This museum will become a source of inspiration for future generations. It will also strengthen the feeling of patriotism and military pride among the youth. Visitors will be proud of the duty and valor of the Navy after seeing this museum.
INS Gomti will attract visitors
INS Gomti, a retired ship from the Indian Navy, will especially attract the spectators. According to the information, this project, developed under the joint auspices of the Indian Navy and Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, has been designed as a state-of-the-art open air museum and interpretation centre.
Retired Indian Navy warship INS Gomti has been installed in Naval Shaurya Vatika, which will be the main center of attraction. This warship was retired from service on 28 May 2022. These include anchor, AK-726 medium range cannon, CET-53M submarine interceptor, JIF-101 launcher with RJ, capstan drum, main mast and ship’s propeller.
Important role in increasing patriotism among youth
Tourists will be able to get comprehensive information about the history, war operations, technical efficiency and maritime security of the Indian Navy here. Besides, this place will also play an important role in increasing patriotism and attraction towards defense services among children and youth.
