Love with a widowed woman, live-in-relationship for 4 years… What happened, the driver committed suicide, video before suicide

Talwandi Sabo: A very sad and shocking case has come to light from Jagaram Teerth village located in Talwandi Sabo, Punjab. Here, fed up with the harassment of a woman and her family, a young man (driver) ended his life by consuming sulfas. The deceased has been identified as Charanpreet Singh. He was living in a live-in relationship with a woman for the last four years. Just before committing suicide, the young man made an emotional video and sent it to his brother, in which he held the woman and her family responsible for his death.

In the video made by the deceased Charanpreet Singh before his death, he tearfully narrated his ordeal. According to the video, her live-in partner and her family had borrowed Rs 4.5 lakh from Charanpreet in the name of sending the woman’s daughter abroad (Canada/IELTs). Charanpreet was a professional driver and he had collected this amount from his hard-earned money. It is alleged that when he started demanding his money back, the woman and her entire family together started mentally harassing him. Instead of returning the money, he was constantly being threatened, due to which he took this suicidal step.

Sent video to brother before dying

Charanpreet recorded a video from his mobile before consuming sulfas (poison). In this video he mentioned the entire incident and the fraud of Rs 4.5 lakh. He sent this video to his brother on WhatsApp, so that he could get justice after his death. After sending the video he embraced death. As soon as the family members got the video and came to know about the incident, there was chaos in the house.

Police arrested two accused

After this horrific incident, the local police immediately swung into action. Talwandi Sabo police station in-charge (SHO) Amrik Singh confirmed the case and said that on the basis of the statement of the deceased’s brother and the video in the form of a suicide note, a case has been registered against a total of four people.

Taking prompt action, the police have arrested two of the named accused, while raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining two accused. The station in-charge has assured that the absconding accused will also be sent behind the bars soon. The people of the area are quite shocked after this incident.
