Even before the launch of Netflix’s biggest and most controversial reality show ‘Lockup Season 2’, a big upheaval has taken place on ‘Judgment Day’. The journey of Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer’s sister Shrestha Iyer in the show has ended as soon as it started and she has been shown the way out of the lockup. In fact, due to less votes in the first week, five contestants were evicted, out of which Gaurav Khanna’s ex-wife Akanksha Chamola and Shrestha Iyer stood in the bottom two. After this, in a big twist in the show, the jail inmates saved Akanksha Chamola due to mutual convenience, due to which Shrestha Iyer got evicted from the show in the very first week.
This time ‘Lockup Season 2’ is being hosted by Bollywood stars Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan. To make the show’s first ‘Judgment Day’ a big hit, there was the surprise entry of Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut. Kangana had come to the show not as a host, but only on the first day as the ‘voice of the public’ to conduct classes for the prisoners. Kangana, along with hosts Ritesh and Farah, opened the entire week-long diary of the jail inmates and gave a tough class to many big contestants.
These 5 contestants were trapped in the danger zone
Last week, not two-three of the celebrities who went inside the jail, but all 5 contestants had come into the danger zone. Due to less votes, famous businessman Ashneer Grover’s wife Madhuri Grover, Gaurav Khanna’s ex-wife Akanksha Chamola, cricketer Shreyas Iyer’s sister Shrestha Iyer, Sufi Motiwala and Shreya Kalra were facing the threat of eviction.
Madhuri Grover played the buzzer and turned the tables
At the very beginning of Judgment Day, the show makers gave a golden opportunity to these danger zone contestants to protect themselves. According to the rules, everyone had to reveal a deep hidden secret of their life to the world, for which a buzzer was installed. As soon as she got the chance, Madhuri Grover was the first to press the buzzer in the blink of an eye. Madhuri shared her secret of her life in front of the hosts and under the strict rules of lockup, she became safe from direct eviction. Sufi Motiwala and Shreya Kalra already managed to be safe on the basis of voting.

Shrestha Iyer became victim of prisoners’ mind games
After Madhuri Grover, Sufi and Shreya were safe, the last match got stuck between Akanksha Chamola and Shrestha Iyer. Both had come in the bottom two. Here, in a big twist, the hosts handed over the decision to the rest of the jail inmates instead of the public. The factionalism and politics inside the jail came out openly here. Seeing their game, mutual coordination and convenience, the contestants thought it better to save Akanksha Chamola and voted in her favor. This mind game of the prisoners decided the departure of Shrestha Iyer and she had to say goodbye to the show in the very first week.
