Lock Up 2: In the reality show ‘Lockup 2’, the stars are turning such dark pages of their lives, which have stunned everyone. Not only Ram Kapoor and Shivangi Joshi, in the latest episode of the show, TV industry’s big star Harshad Chopra has also told the very painful truth of sexual abuse in his childhood. Harshad Chopra revealed that when he was just 9-10 years old, a very trustworthy person had done a disgusting act with him. The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ fame actor also clarified that due to this childhood trauma, he had started being afraid of gay men, although he does not hate this community.
Harshad Chopra Recalling that old incident in the show, he told that when he was young, his parents left him with a person whom his family and the entire society blindly trusted. Harshad told, “I was a very scared child in my childhood. That man used to do dirty things with me at night. I was wearing clothes, but he used to come on top of me and do such things. I used to pretend to sleep out of fear. I never told this to anyone because I did not understand at that time what had happened to me.”
Try again by taking it to the balcony
Harshad further told that the person had once again tried to misbehave with him. On the pretext of showing him something, he took Harshad to the balcony, picked him up in his lap and started doing dirty things. Harshad said that he was so scared at that time that he could not even raise any questions. Harshad said sadly that the person who did wrong to him is still roaming happily in the society and till today he is carrying that pain within himself.
Special advice given to parents
Along with sharing his bitter experience, Harshad Chopra made a very special appeal to all the parents. He said that no parent should leave their children alone with any third person, no matter how trustworthy he is. He said that parents should create such a friendly environment with their children that children can share any wrongdoing that happens to them without any hesitation.
