Lock Up Season 2 Launch Event: Whenever Ekta Kapoor plays a new bet in the world of TV and OTT, it is sure to be a blast. Recently, when the stage of the controversial reality show ‘Lock Up: Sach Ya Saja’ was set up in Mumbai, something happened which perhaps no one had expected. Ekta Kapoor, Farah Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Netflix India content head Monica Shergill were present at the grand launching of the show. The whole atmosphere changed completely when the makers unveiled the faces of the three prisoners of this season. These three names were – Shivangi Joshi, Pamela ‘Pam’ Serena and veteran TV actor Ram Kapoor himself. As soon as Ram Kapoor entered the stage, the people sitting in the hall could not stop laughing. But amidst all this laughter and joking, an incident came to light which crossed all limits of friendship, old memories and mutual conflict.
Farah Khan’s eyes widened in tears after seeing Ram Kapoor on stage. He was surprised and directly asked, Ram, why are you doing all this? Have you become helpless, brother? I swear that we had no idea that you were going to this show. Ram also stole the show in his own style and replied that Farah, to tell you the truth, I myself had never dreamed that I would do such a show. Yesterday was Father’s Day. Early in the morning my children woke me up and the first question they asked was, Papa, why are you going to this show? Those people were really very scared and worried.
Ram further told that he has come to this show not on his own will but on the ‘instruction of nature’. He said that sometimes the universe gives you clear signals. I got not one, but four big clues. First of all, the casting person who called me is an old and very close friend of mine. She never offers me such a show, but she said Ram, think once. I was about to say no to him, but two people sitting there gave me such a pitch that I was shocked.

“Riteish has seen me without clothes”
When Ram Kapoor came to his third signal, here’s what he said while pointing towards Farah and Riteish: Ritesh Deshmukh Watered down. Ram smiled and said, look at the third gesture, both of them got to host this show in such a large population. Now listen to the truth, Farah, Sajid and I are childhood friends and as far as Ritesh is concerned, he has even seen me without underwear! Why Ritesh, am I lying?

But it is also the biggest punishment of my life that I had to see Ram without underwear!” After this, Farah laughingly said to Ram, “Brother, I hope that you will at least wear underwear during the show.”

After this came the fourth and biggest hint, which directly pointed towards the old relationship between Ekta Kapoor and Ram Kapoor. Ram said that for the last one year there has been a lot of discussion in the media about what happened between me and Ekta, what rift happened. No one knows what the truth is. But everyone knows that whenever Ekta and I have joined hands in the last 15 years, we have always created history. How could I say no to unity when the Universe itself is giving such a signal?
On this point of Ram and adding Farah’s underwear joke, Ekta Kapoor released such an arrow on the live stage that everyone was stunned. Taking a direct dig at Ram Kapoor, Ekta said that whether he wears underwear inside or not, one thing is certain that only we will remove them. It is worth noting that the news of rift between Ram Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor was continuously making headlines for some time.
