The contestants of Lockup 2 were also giving their opinion regarding this, in which Akanksha has supported Shilpa by calling her helpless.

In an episode of the show, host Ritesh Deshmukh asks all the contestants for their opinion on this statement of Shilpa. In which most of the contestants say it is wrong. But when it comes to Akanksha, she says that being a woman, I feel that somewhere that woman would be so helpless that she would be looking for this only solution.
Akanksha further says, I am not supporting what she (Shilpa) did. But I am just telling the fact that if you are fighting with a very big person and you are fighting on any topic and you see that he has more hold than you and if you look beyond this, then it is possible that at that time he may be feeling completely surrounded. Because whatever may have happened, even today she is working with the same producer.
Shilpa revealed after 10 years
Recently, in the podcast of comedians Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa, Shilpa Shinde admitted that about 10 years ago she had filed a false sexual harassment case against ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’ producer Sanjay Kohli. Shilpa told that after leaving the show, she had not received her due payment and at that time she was feeling completely surrounded. In such a situation, he took this step as a last resort. He also told that later a settlement was reached between the two parties and they had received their due money. After this revelation by Shilpa, she had to face a lot of criticism.
