Cocktail 2 News: As soon as the trailer of Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Cocktail 2’ was released on social media, the discussion among the fans became heated. Seeing the tremendous chemistry of Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in the trailer, it was speculated that there might be a ‘lesbian love track’ in the film. Now the makers of the film and the star cast themselves have not only clarified these rumours, but have also revealed the truth of the entire matter.

Rashmika said that there was a good bonding between them from the very first meeting and since then they both are very good friends. When Shahid Kapoor jokingly said during the event that both of them were looking like a ‘couple’ in the film, then everyone was convinced that this was probably a lesbian love story.
Why did Kriti not like this rumor?
Kriti Sanon Expressing sadness on this subject, he said, “It is really sad. If two boys are seen together on screen, people call it bromance or romance, but if two girls are together, then either they are considered enemies or people say that ‘something else’ is going on between them. People do not believe that two girls can be just ‘best friends’.”
What did the director and producer say?
The film’s director Homi Adajania made interesting revelations on the whole matter. He said, “Kriti and Rashmika used to have a lot of fun on the sets and their friendship is very cuddly. We also (jokingly) thought that if we make Shahid Kapoor the third wheel of this group, then what would be the story. To be honest, I would have no objection to making such a (lesbian) film on him.”

At the same time, producer Dinesh Vijan ended the entire debate and clarified, “I want to make it clear that there are two love stories in the trailer of ‘Cocktail 2’, one old and one new… There is no lesbian love story in the film.”
