This happened to him in the initial days of his career and now after years the actor has revealed it. Whereas, in the film for which action was taken against him, two big actors were working in it. But he was not banned and how did Chunky Pandey get trapped in this whole affair. The actor himself has told this.
In fact chunky pandey He started his acting career with the 1987 film ‘Aag Hi Aag’. Actually, he was seen as a background dancer in a song of Sanjay Dutt’s debut film ‘Rocky’ released in 1981. But there have been a lot of ups and downs in the actor’s career. Chunky Pandey was banned during his very first film. Recently, when we talked to the actor about Ranveer Singh’s ban issue, he said that he does not know the whole thing. Therefore, instead of speaking on that matter, he shared his own story.
Why was Chunky Pandey banned?
Recently, while talking to a news website, Chunky Pandey told the story of his ban. The actor told that, “In 1987, during the shooting of ‘Aag Hi Aag’, the entire film industry went on strike. At that time no one was allowed to continue the shooting. But Pahlaj Nihalani was shooting in Bengaluru with the entire team. After which he continued shooting in Ooty also. Now because the actor was also associated with that film, strict action was taken against everyone associated with the film except him. After which the shooting of the film was immediately stopped.”
Big actors were not banned: Chunky
Chunky Pandey also told how no action was taken against Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha. He says that – “Dharmendra ji and Shatrughan Sinha ji were also a part of the film, but they were such big stars that they were doing 30-40 films simultaneously. In such a situation, it was not possible to ban them. Also, at that time, Chunky Pandey was a newcomer and his film had not even been released. So the actor was banned for a week.
He says that – when the entire industry was on strike and I was shooting, I was banned. But no action was taken against big actors. At the same time, I was banned. After which I apologized and the ban was lifted within a week. But such things happen.
