Lava SHARK 2 5G: Lava has launched its new budget 5G smartphone Lava Shark 2 5G in India on Tuesday (26 May). The company has introduced this phone with a big battery, 120Hz display and clean Android experience. The new smartphone has been brought keeping in mind those users who want powerful features at a low price. The phone has a large 6000mAh battery and UNISOC T8200 processor. The sale of Lava SHARK 2 5G will start from June 10, 2026. Its price is Rs 11,999 and the phone can be purchased from retail stores across the country from June 10, 2026.
Display and Design
Lava SHARK 2 5G has a 6.75 inch HD + LCD display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate. The company claims that this will make the scrolling and gaming experience much smoother. IP64 rating has been given in the phone. Talking about design, this smartphone has been launched in Sonar Gold and Arya Blue color options.
Lava SHARK 2 5G has an octa core 6nm UNISOC T8200 processor. The company says that the AnTuTu score of the phone is more than 5 lakhs. The phone has 4GB LPDDR4x RAM, which can be expanded up to 8GB with the help of virtual RAM. With this, 64GB UFS 2.2 storage is available and with the help of microSD card, the storage can be increased up to 1TB. The phone runs on clean Android 16.

For photography, the phone has a 13-megapixel AI rear camera, while for selfies and video calling, a 5-megapixel front camera is available. For power, the phone has a large 6000mAh battery, which claims long backup. With this, 18W fast charging support is also available. According to Lava, the device can provide YouTube playback for about 13 hours 35 minutes and continuous screen on time for about 12 hours 23 minutes.
A side mounted fingerprint scanner is provided in the phone. For connectivity, it has support for 5G, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and USB Type-C port. The weight of the phone is 210 grams.
