
Former Chief Minister of Bihar Rabri Devi was recently given notice by the Building Construction Department to vacate Rabri residence. There was a lot of controversy regarding this. This matter had not even cooled down yet and now the government has also reduced his security. The government has withdrawn the Z Plus category security given to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad and former Chief Minister Rabri Devi. Now he will be given only special security by Bihar Police. The issue of security cuts has now gained momentum.
After this decision of the government, Rabri Devi and Lalu Prasad Yadav have removed all the security personnel deployed outside their residence in Patna. There is not a single security personnel deployed at the main gate of the residence. A video from outside the residence has also surfaced in which it can be clearly seen that there is no security personnel at the main gate.

Instructions to security personnel to leave
Former Chief Ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi have returned all the security personnel deployed at their residence. He directed all the soldiers to leave the residence immediately, after which all the security personnel came out of his official residence. It is being told that the security personnel have come and stood at some distance outside the residence.

In fact, the government has reduced the security of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi by making changes in their security arrangements. Both the leaders earlier enjoyed Z+ category security, which included a large number of security personnel, house guards and escort vehicles. But now the government has withdrawn the Z+ category security.
Z+ category security ended
According to the letter issued by the Home Department, the Z+ category security given to Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi has been abolished. However, both are former Chief Ministers and in this regard they will be provided security under a separate legal provision of the Bihar Government.
Rabri-Lalu’s security arrangements
According to the order, Rabri Devi will be provided 2-8 house guard team of Bihar Special Armed Police (BSAP), three female and three male bodyguards, bulletproof vehicle and escort vehicle under the Special Security Team Act, 2010 of Bihar Government. Under this Act, Lalu Prasad will be given 2-8 House Guard teams. Two bodyguards will be deployed for his safety. Along with this, they will also get the facility of escort, pilot and bulletproof vehicle.
Tejashwi Yadav no change in security
Meanwhile, the Y+ category security of Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav will continue as before. There has been no change in Tejashwi’s security. They will be provided with an escort vehicle consisting of 1-4 house guards, six bodyguards and five policemen.
Tej Pratap Yadav’s security also cut
Meanwhile, the security of former minister and current MLA Tej Pratap Yadav has also been cut. Earlier he used to get Y category security, but now he will be provided only one personal security officer i.e. bodyguard. This change in security has been made under the rules applicable after leaving the post of minister.
Tejashwi Yadav’s wife got a bodyguard
Whereas Lalu’s elder daughter and MP Misa Bharti will now get the security cover of three security personnel. This arrangement has been decided under the security protocol prescribed for MPs. A security guard will be provided to Tejashwi Yadav’s wife Rajshree Yadav. Although Rajshree does not hold any political or constitutional post, keeping in mind the public activities and personal security of the family, she has been given a bodyguard.
