Kuwait or UAE, kill whomever you want… America will not jump into war now, told Iran red line

June 4, 2026 by Uma Shankar

US President Donald Trump currently does not want to start a large-scale war against Iran again. However, he has told his colleagues that if American soldiers are killed in any action by Iran, then he may consider starting military action again. This claim has been made in the report of American newspaper Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

According to the report, Trump wants to avoid another major war in the Middle East. Therefore, he is ready to tolerate minor attacks and stress for some time. It is believed that he can tolerate limited skirmishes for several weeks or months, but does not want to plunge the entire region into war. Meanwhile, Iran’s attacks on Gulf countries including UAE are continuing.

Big clash despite ceasefire

The ceasefire between America and Iran came into effect on 8 April. Despite this, tension between the two countries has increased again in recent times. The most serious clashes took place this week after the ceasefire came into force. According to the report, Iran launched missile and drone attacks on US military bases in the region and Kuwait International Airport, in which one person was killed.

There is also a conflict between the two countries regarding the Strait of Hormuz. Was talking to reporters at the White House on Wednesday. During this visit, a journalist asked him how he understood the ceasefire. On this, Trump said that ceasefire in that area does not mean complete peace, rather attacks continue at a low level. He said that the situation is still under control and the path to dialogue is open. Trump said that we had given them a strong response in a case, so they are also reacting.

Expectation of agreement this week

Trump also said that talks are going well and it is possible that an agreement may be reached by the end of this week. He expressed confidence that ultimately both sides can reach a solution. According to the WSJ report, the Trump administration is hoping for a major deal that would fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz, end Iran’s nuclear program and eliminate its stockpile of enriched uranium.

The report said that work is going on to make a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between America and Iran to prepare a framework for talks for about 60 days. However, Trump had rejected Iran’s new proposal last week. He says that before getting economic relief, Iran will have to make big agreements and concessions. At the same time, Iran says that talks on the nuclear issue will move forward only if America first lifts the ban on Iranian assets or provides economic relief.
