Team India’s tour of England has ended, where it faced defeat in the T20 and ODI series. During both these series, not only was the performance of Team India under question, the decisions of the team management were also shocking, which also became the reason for criticism. Especially star spinner Kuldeep Yadav not being given a chance in even a single match left many questions. Now Team India did not give a chance to Kuldeep but the experienced spinner has got a new team. Kuldeep will be seen playing for Yorkshire County while staying in England.
The last match of the ODI series was played between India and England on 19 July. But despite the series being over, Kuldeep’s tour of England continues because now the Indian spinner has got a chance to show his talent in domestic cricket there. Yorkshire County Cricket Club, the home team of star English cricketers like Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow, has signed Indian left arm spinner Kuldeep for the next few matches.
Yorkshire issued a special statement on Wednesday 22nd July announcing the signing of Kuldeep. According to this, Kuldeep will be a part of the club to play 5 ODIs and 3 county matches. In a statement, Yorkshire said: “Yorkshire CCC is delighted to announce the signing of Indian international player Kuldeep Yadav. Kuldeep will feature in five ‘Metro Bank One Day Cup’ matches and three ‘Rothesay County Championship’ matches for the ‘White Roses’.”
