
KC Tyagi has been given a big responsibility in Jayant Chaudhary’s party Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD). On Tuesday he was appointed Chairman of the RLD Parliamentary Board. Jayant announced this through a post on his social media account ‘X’ at 5 pm. This decision of RLD President Jayant Chaudhary is also being linked to the assembly elections to be held in 2027.
At the same time, with this appointment, KC Tyagi has secured the number two position in RLD. In such a situation, after Jayant, KC Tyagi will dominate the party. It is believed that KC Tyagi will be seen in an important role in the upcoming UP assembly elections also. Apart from this, the newly constituted parliamentary board of RLD includes a total of 15 members and 4 special invitees, including Chairman KC Tyagi and party national president Jayant Chaudhary.
Long experience of coalition politics
Former MP KC Tyagi had joined RLD shortly after leaving JDU. In the RLD list, he has been described as ‘MISA prisoner and former MP, Uttar Pradesh’. It is being told that KC Tyagi has long experience in national politics, especially coalition politics. Jayant Chaudhary wants to use this experience to expand the party at the national level.
Political equation in western UP
With this role of KC Tyagi, RLD will become stronger in West UP. KC Tyagi has a lot of influence in his society and agriculture-based politics. RLD is preparing to strengthen its hold in Western UP. Through the new parliamentary board of RLD, Jayant Chaudhary has included leaders not only from UP but also from Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi. Many prominent personalities including Jayant Chaudhary became ‘members’ of the committee.
