
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced his resignation on Thursday. He announced this in a breakfast meeting with ministers at the CM residence in Bengaluru. He informed the ministers about his decision. Siddaramaiah will go to Lok Bhavan at 3 pm. He will submit his resignation to the Governor’s office because Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot is not in Bengaluru at present. He is currently in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It is being said that one of his relatives is ill and he has come here to see him.
Siddaramaiah had called a cabinet meeting for breakfast at 10.30 am. He had to announce his resignation in this meeting. After his resignation, the way has been cleared for DK Shivkumar to become the Chief Minister. There was a struggle going on regarding this for a long time.
