Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sanjay Kapoor died on 12 June 2025. According to reports, Sanjay died of a heart attack. Even though Karishma had divorced Sanjay. But after his death, she attended his funeral and paid tribute to him.

How did Sanjay Kapoor die?

According to media reports, Sanjay Kapoor died in England. When he was playing polo. During this time a bee had gone around his neck. Then he had a heart attack and said goodbye to the world. After this his body was brought to Delhi, where his last rites were performed. During this time, Karisma Kapoor had attended the funeral along with her two children Samaira and Kiaan. At the same time, Kareena Kapoor and Saif had also come to join the grief of sister Karisma.

After the divorce, the custody of the children also went to Karishma.

Sanjay Kapoor has left behind property worth Rs 300 crore, regarding which there is a dispute going on between Karisma Kapoor and Sanjay’s second wife and children.
