
Kailash Mansarovar Yatra: Kailash Mansarovar Yatra has started. The first batch of passengers (10 groups) left for Sikkim, Nathu La Pass from the country’s capital Delhi on 15 June 2026. Now the first group of the Yatra going from Uttarakhand will reach Uttarakhand on 4th July. There will be a total of 10 teams in this journey also. There will be 50 devotees in each group. In this way, a total of 500 devotees will travel to Kailash Mansarovar via Lipulekh route. The first batch of devotees will enter Tibet on July 10. Kumaon Mandal Development Corporation will arrange 12 vehicles for the movement of passengers. The journey to Kailash Mansarovar is very difficult.

This year the last date to apply for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra was 19 May 2026. People holding valid Indian passport can apply for travel from the official website of the Ministry of External Affairs.
Permits and Documents: For Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, valid passport (minimum 6 months validity), passport size photograph, identity proof (Aadhaar or PAN card), medical fitness certificate, travel insurance and China visa/permit are mandatory.
way: to enter the field For Indian citizens, Ministry of External Affairs Operates two official pilgrimage routes. Lipulekh Pass Uttarakhand- In this route, from Delhi to Kathgodam to Pithoragarh to Dharchula to Lipulekh Pass to Taklakot (Tibet) to Kailash Mansarovar. It takes about 22 to 25 days to reach Kailash Mansarovar through this route. This route is very popular among pilgrims. Best time to visit: The time from mid-May to September is considered the best time to visit Kailash Mansarovar. During these months the temperature remains quite pleasant, the roads are almost empty and there is no thick layer of snow on the high mountain passes.
