Controversy over Jr NTR’s film
Tamil Nadu leader Seeman warned the makers of facing serious consequences regarding the film starring Junior NTR and Trivikram Srinivas. Along with this, a demand has been made to ban the film in Tamil Nadu due to the alleged portrayal of Lord Murugan. Tamil leader Seeman, a former actor and filmmaker, alleged that if Lord Murugan was portrayed in the film contrary to facts and religious beliefs, there would be strong opposition in Tamil Nadu.

What is the whole matter?
Although the makers have not yet revealed the story of the film, but the first poster shows that the film will be based on Lord Murugan. But what was written in the caption of this post angered the Tamil people. This is because this post claimed that Lord Murugan was born in ‘North India’. Many people expressed anger over this on social media and claimed that Lord Murugan has been worshiped as a Tamil deity and hence it is wrong to call him ‘born in North India’. This is a matter of tampering with historical and cultural facts.

Gave warning to makers
Tamil leader Seeman issued a statement on X accusing the makers of misrepresenting Tamil history and hurting the sentiments of the Tamil people. Also, in this statement, the makers were warned not to show Lord Murugan as born in North India. Seeman’s post said that one should stop creating fabricated stories in the name of art, as was done in the statement that he was born in North India. If this is not done then serious consequences will have to be faced.
There is no reaction from the makers yet on the statement of Tamil leader Seeman. The shooting of the film has not started yet and it is being said that its name could be ‘God of War’.
