
Security agencies have once again become alert regarding the possibility of infiltration on the international border adjacent to Jammu and Kashmir. According to information received from intelligence sources, there may be an infiltration attempt by terrorists associated with the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed between June 13 and 15. According to inputs received by intelligence agencies, terrorists may try to enter India through Ujh river in Dalatar-Farpur sector of Kathua district.
According to sources, the group carrying out this infiltration is camping in Chak Qazian Masur area adjacent to the Pakistan border and is looking for an opportunity to enter the Indian border. After receiving the input, security agencies and forces deployed on the border have been put on high alert. Other security agencies including Border Security Force (BSF) have increased surveillance in sensitive areas. Special monitoring is being done on river routes, infiltration-prone routes and areas near the border.

Sources say that in recent times there has been an increase in activities on terrorist launch pads across the border, keeping this in mind the security arrangements have been further strengthened. Also, suspicious activities are being monitored with the help of drones, night vision equipment and other technical resources.

In fact, these launch pads have long played an important role as a major haven for terrorism, where terrorists are not only trained but from there they are sent to Jammu and Kashmir after crossing the Line of Control (LoC). According to sources, last week security forces had identified 42 terrorist launch pads and training centers in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and since then they were being kept under close watch. According to sources, currently around 150 to 200 terrorists are deployed in different camps in (PoK), who are looking for infiltration.
At present, security agencies are analyzing all the inputs and extensive preparations have been made to foil any possible infiltration attempt.
