
Jaaved Jaaferi On Not Becoming A-List Star: Bollywood actor Javed Jaffrey has once again returned to the big screen to make people laugh through ‘Dhamal 4’. This film of his has been released on 10th July. Javed is an actor who has been in Bollywood for the last 41 years. He started his career through the film ‘Meri Jung’ released in 1985. He was seen in a negative role in this. He has played all types of characters, from villain to comedy. However, he could never become an A-list star. Now he himself has talked about this and told why this happened, why he did not get a big star.

In a conversation with Screen, when Javed Jaffrey was asked why he could not become an A-list star, he said, “I think it also depends on how your image has been created. PR also plays a role in this, because the industry has its own network. Sometimes a negative thing spreads about you, then you need to know the truth or create a positive image of yourself. In some cases, I could not do this. I was not even a part of any group.”

He further said, “If you get a big hit, no one argues with you. There is nothing bigger than success. Like it happened with Salman Khan. He started with ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’. People ignored him. Then ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ came. After that everyone started running after him. Salman Khan was the same. It was not that he was doing anything different compared to ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’. But all this happened because of success. Obviously with him you Looking at it from that perspective, I never got that big hit.”
