Trump’s signature in the presence of Macron

Trump signed a physical copy of it while having dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron in Versailles on Wednesday. Versailles is the same palace where many historic treaties have been signed that ended wars or territorial disputes over the centuries. Although the White House had planned a signing ceremony in Switzerland on Friday, the situation regarding this ceremony is not clear.

“It has been signed,” President Trump said as he left a dinner at Versailles after a trip to the G7 summit in France. In a video viral on social media, Trump was seen sitting at a table next to Macron and signing a copy of the agreement. After this, Trump handed over the documents and pen to Foreign Minister Marco Rubio standing nearby, the people present there also clapped.

Signature of Iranian President also

“It was not easy,” Trump said just before the signing, according to a video posted on social media by host President Macron.

According to Iran’s government news agency IRNA, President Masoud Pejeshkian signed the agreement on behalf of Iran in Tehran. The agency posted his photos in which he is seen showing the agreement signed by him and Trump. However, the basics of the agreement have not yet been formally released. Iran’s state TV also released the same information that America had given.

Hormuz will open, Iran will be able to sell oil

At present it is being said that most part of this agreement will restore the situation before the war. This includes ending the war, resuming talks between the US and Iran on Tehran’s nuclear program and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Hormuz is an important sea route through which oil and natural gas are transported to many countries of the world and its closure had created a historic energy crisis.

According to the information released by both the countries, under this agreement, Tehran will have to reduce its stock of Highly Enriched Uranium and the ban imposed by America will be lifted. Under this agreement, Iran will immediately be allowed to sell its oil freely.
