Itel has launched its new feature phone Itel Aqua in India on Monday, June 1. This phone has been specially brought for those users who want a strong, durable and long lasting phone. Its biggest feature is IP67 dust and water resistance rating, which is usually seen in expensive smartphones. The phone has support for 1200mAh battery, AI environmental noise cancellation and USB Type C charging. Its price has been kept at Rs 1,799. This phone supports 10 Indian languages including Hindi, English, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada and Malayalam.
IP67 protection with robust design
itel Aqua is designed for rugged and durable use. The phone has got IP67 rating, due to which it remains protected from dust and water to a great extent. According to the company, this device can perform better even in difficult conditions of rain, water splash, wet soil and outdoor environment. Apart from this, it can also tolerate sudden drops and rough handling. Itel has introduced it in Blue, Red and Black color options and it is available at retail stores across the country.
Display, storage and calling features
The phone has a 2.4 inch display. The company says that its screen has better brightness, which makes it easy to read content even in sunlight. For storage, it has support for expandable storage up to 32GB through memory card. The phone can save up to 1,000 contacts, while it also has the ability to store 250 messages and 60 call logs. It has a VGA rear camera for photography. Along with this, AI Environmental Noise Cancellation feature helps in reducing the surrounding noise during the call, making the conversation heard more clearly.
Battery, languages and connectivity
Itel Aqua has a 1200mAh battery which claims to provide long term backup. It has a modern USB Type C port for charging, which is considered a useful upgrade in the feature phone segment. The phone also has the facility of Bluetooth connectivity, wireless FM radio recording and wireless file sharing. Apart from this, a bilingual voice assistance feature named King Voice has been provided, which provides information about menus, calls and notifications in Hindi and English. This phone supports 10 Indian languages including Hindi, English, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada and Malayalam. Apart from this, many useful features like speed dial, auto call recording, super battery mode and time update have also been included in it.
