According to CNN, they have received information from their sources that Israel has shared intelligence with America that Iran has recently made a new plan to assassinate President Donald Trump. This warning was received this week. At the same time, another CNN source said that America was continuously receiving intelligence information about possible plans to assassinate Trump. But Israel’s warning was new and bigger.
Is Israel trying to influence Trump’s decision?
However, many American officials believe that this Israeli report could be an attempt to influence Trump’s decision. Actually, Trump is considering intensifying US military action against Iran. This report of Israel can prove to be important in getting this decision approved. However, till now neither America nor Israel has officially confirmed it.
What do Trump’s statements indicate?
The US government has long warned that Iran could try to assassinate Trump in 2020 in revenge for a drone attack carried out on his orders. Iran’s top general Qasim Sulemani was killed in this. Recent statements given by Trump also point in this direction. While talking to the media on Wednesday, July 08, Trump had said that ‘they want to eliminate the American leader, i.e. me.’

However, the Israeli report is being considered a means to influence Trump’s decision, because Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu was against the agreement between America and Iran.
Demand for Trump’s death was raised at Khamenei’s funeral
At present, the former Supreme Leader of Iran was laid to rest on July 9 in Mashhad. During his funeral, a crowd of Iranians demanded Trump’s death. Khamenei was killed in an American attack on February 28 at the very beginning of the war. Tension has increased again between America and Iran. The 60-day ceasefire has also been broken.
