According to the Israeli army, the objective of this operation was to gain control over the Beaufort Ridge and Wadi al-Saluki area. The army claimed that Hezbollah had prepared a military structure in this area with the support of Iran. Therefore, during the operation, Hezbollah’s bases and military facilities were targeted.
