ISI conspiracy to terrorize Delhi foiled, 8 members of TTH module arrested

A call center is being built in Islamabad, Pakistan, through which a conspiracy is being hatched to terrorize Delhi. An 8-member terrorist module linked to the network of Pakistan’s ISI-linked handler Shahzad Bhatti has been exposed. First three accused were arrested here. Now 5 more accused have been arrested. The accused were assigned the task of targeting policemen in Delhi and surrounding states. The accused were instructed to propagate the alleged ISI-backed terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Hindustan (TTH).

In Delhi-NCR, work of putting up graffiti (writing on walls) and posters was being done in support of TTH. TTH had recently claimed responsibility for the murder of an ASI in Amritsar (Majitha), Punjab. Police recovered 5 illegal weapons and 10 live cartridges. At the same time, posters and other objectionable materials of Shahzad Bhatti Network member Abid Jatt were also recovered. What did the accused do?

Sohail (Faridabad, Haryana) made graffiti in Delhi and Faridabad in support of TTH. Make a video and send it to the handler in Pakistan. He received Rs 5,000 for this work. Has been involved in many criminal cases in the past also. Sonu Meena (Ghitorni, Delhi) used to collect weapons and funding for the network. Three pistols and cartridges were recovered from him. Sent Rs 5,000 to Sohail. Sachin Kumar Meena (Dausa, Rajasthan) was Sonu’s associate.

Two pistols and cartridges were recovered from him. Mohammad Kaif (Nuh/Mewat, Haryana), was in touch with members of the Pakistan-based network. The task of killing policemen, recceing police stations and security establishments and recruiting youth was assigned. Instructions were received to put up posters of Abid Jatt. Mohammad Rihan (Meerut, Uttar Pradesh) put up posters of Abid Jatt in Meerut. A bribe of Rs 3 lakh was given for firing on policemen. The task of making graffiti of TTH and doing recce of security establishments was also assigned.

Which first 3 accused were arrested?

Earlier 3 accused had been arrested in this case. Soyab (Amroha, UP) has made a video threatening to kill policemen and sent it to the handler. A country made pistol and 2 cartridges have been recovered. Anmol Rai alias Annu (Niwari, Madhya Pradesh) used to put up posters of Abid Jatt. Instructions were received to attack policemen. Ravi Kashyap (Amroha, UP) had made a video of threatening policemen by waving weapons. A country made pistol and 2 live cartridges were recovered. According to the Special Cell, this module was preparing to carry out terrorist and criminal activities in India on the instructions of Pakistan-based handlers.
