Despite the resignation of Champat Rai and Anil Mishra from the Ayodhya-based Ram Mandir Trust, there seems to be no change in the management of the temple. Sources say that Champat Rai and Anil Mishra are involved in the management of the temple like before and are playing a role in important decisions. It is reported that both of them keep coming and going in the temple premises as usual.
Meanwhile, new information has also come to light about Gopalji Rao. Eyewitness Pandit Vipin Shankar Tiwari has claimed that he was seen near the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple on Monday. A picture has also surfaced in support of this claim, in which a person in red kurta is seen, who has been identified as Gopalji Rao. Pandit Vipin Shankar Tiwari has claimed that he himself saw Gopalji Rao in the temple.
No significant change in trust at ground level
According to sources, Gopalji Rao’s responsibilities and his influence remain intact. It is alleged that many important decisions related to the management of the temple are still being taken with the participation of Champat Rai, Gopalji Rao and Anil Mishra. Sources also say that the resignations are only on paper, whereas there has been no significant change in the trust at the ground level. According to sources, the discussion of resignations had started amid increasing pressure after the incident of theft of offerings in the temple, but it has had no impact on the management structure. According to sources, Champat Rai is currently in Ayodhya.
Champat and Anil’s decision will be taken in the trust meeting
These resignations and related incidents are likely to be discussed in the trust meeting to be held on July 11. However, these claims of the sources have not been independently confirmed and an official response from the Trust is awaited. At the same time, it is being told that now the trust meeting to be held on 11th July will be held on 6th. According to sources, a decision will be taken in this meeting after discussing the resignation of Champat Rai and Anil Mishra.
