Iran-US Deal: What did Palestine get from the Iran-US deal? Children are still being killed in Gaza

June 23, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Iran-US Deal: The war between Iran and America has stopped for now. But the sequence of deaths continues in Gaza. Even after the announcement of ceasefire on 10 October 2025, firing continues here almost every day. Despite the announcement of ceasefire by the Israeli Army and Hamas, there have been more than 3201 cases of ceasefire violations till June 9. According to a report by Al Jazeera, Israel has attacked Gaza in 218 days out of the last 243 days of the ceasefire. There were only 25 days when there was no news of violent attacks and deaths from Gaza.

According to the report of the government media office in Gaza, Israeli soldiers crossed the Yellow Line and raided residential areas 97 times. During this period, 83 Palestinians were also detained. Gaza was bombed and shelled a total of 1,109 times. Along with this, people’s properties were destroyed 273 times. The government media office in Gaza has also accused Israel of blocking humanitarian aid and destroying homes and infrastructure throughout the area.

Gaza Death

The process of death of children is not stopping in Gaza

1.On June 5, a 7-month-old child died in an Israeli attack in Gaza.
2.6 people died in Israeli attack on June 20, including 2 children
3.So far 72,991 people have been killed in Gaza. These include 20,179 children
4.Despite the ceasefire, reports of deaths of children are continuously coming out from Gaza.

Children are still being killed in Gaza

When the Israel-US war with Iran started, the coverage of Gaza reduced. In such a situation, the news of the deaths of Palestinians being killed in continuous Israeli attacks got suppressed somewhere. According to a report by Al Jazeera, a total of 981 people were killed in Gaza from October 10 to June 9. Children are also included in these. At the same time, on June 20, 6 people were killed in an Israeli attack. There are 2 children involved.

About two weeks ago, a 7-month-old baby named Sam Fahad Abu Haikal was killed in firing by Israeli soldiers near Hebron in the West Bank. Israeli soldiers were also accused of shooting an 18-year-old Palestinian girl who was going to the exam center in Gaza. The Gaza government media office says that children are still dying due to Israeli attacks.

Israel captured 64 percent of Gaza

When the agreement between Iran and America was announced, hope arose that West Asia could be taken out of the period of instability. But Israel’s ongoing war with Hamas in Palestine is not ending. According to the latest claim of Gaza’s government media office, the Israeli army has captured about 64% of Gaza. Instructions have also been received from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to increase it to 60 percent.

According to the Gaza Media Office, in March, when the world’s attention was on the Iran-US war, the Israeli army sent maps to organizations carrying aid for Palestinians. It was shown in these maps that the army had advanced 11 percent beyond the ‘Yellow Line’. This clearly means that from 53 percent of Gaza’s area, Israel has now captured 64 percent of it.

Hunger will increase further in Gaza

Palestinian citizens can no longer access two-thirds of their own territory. Apart from this, all the cultivable lands of Gaza also fall in the Israeli occupied areas. In such a situation, the situation of hunger in Gaza as well as Palestine may become more dire. Since Israel’s war with Hamas in Gaza, there have been continuous reports of increasing hunger there.

72,991 people have been killed so far in Gaza

According to the latest data from the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza, at least 72,991 people have been killed from October 7, 2023 to June 10, 2026. These include 20,179 children. Apart from this, about 173,212 people are injured. At present, the manner in which the conflict between Palestine and Israel continues despite the ceasefire, it seems that these figures will only increase in the coming days.

What did Palestine get in the Iran-US deal?

After the news of the agreement between Iran and America, it was expected that the ongoing conflict between Gaza, Hamas and Israel would stop completely. But, this does not seem to be happening. There is daily shooting and bombing in Gaza. The number of deaths is increasing. In such a situation, Palestine does not seem to be gaining anything from the Iran-America agreement.

Southern Lebanon is moving towards becoming Gaza

Apart from all this, a situation like Hamas is visible in Southern Lebanon also. Here Israel is fighting a war against Hezbollah. However, Iran says that Lebanon has also been mentioned in the ceasefire agreement with America. Israeli attacks in Lebanon must stop. But Israel does not seem to accept this. Orders have been given by the Israeli army to evacuate about one-fifth of Lebanon. Due to this, 12 lakh people have also become homeless. As things stand, Southern Lebanon also seems to be moving towards becoming Gaza.
