
New leaks related to iPhone 18 Pro are coming out, now recently a new leak has revealed that this phone can come with different battery capacities. The leak indicates that in countries where physical SIMs are currently available, models with physical SIM cards may have smaller batteries compared to models with e-SIM. Many hardware upgrades have also been pointed out in the leak, such as this phone can be equipped with A20 Pro chipset which will be made on 2nm process. Apart from this, a camera system with variable aperture can be found in it. Due to all these changes, the production cost of the phone may increase, it remains to be seen whether the company will bear these expenses itself or will pass this burden on the customers by increasing the price of the phone.
A Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station and later by tipster Ice Universe also supported this. According to the leak, Apple is testing two battery options. The model supporting physical SIM card can be launched with 4056mAh battery while the eSIM only model can be launched with 4288mAh battery.
Earlier reports suggested that some European markets may switch to eSIM only iPhone models. If this happens, then buyers in those countries can get a variant with a larger battery. The tipster also claims that the prototype of this Pro variant has a variable aperture 48-megapixel primary camera sensor.
